1. Who we are

RankAltus is based in India and operates rankaltus.com and the Linker app at linker.rankaltus.com. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

2. What we collect

Data you give us: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed) when you register; the target URLs, anchor text and business details you provide when placing an order; transaction IDs and payment proof screenshots you send us for wallet top-ups; and any messages you send our support team.

Data collected automatically: basic usage and device data (such as browser type and pages visited) and cookies.

Payment data: we do not store your card or bank details. Payments are processed by PayPal or UPI, and we only receive confirmation of the transaction.

3. How and why we use it

We use your data to operate the service, process and verify orders and payments, provide support, keep our platform secure, and send you service-related emails.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only where needed: with payment providers to process top-ups, with hosting and infrastructure providers who run our platform, with third-party websites to the extent required to place a link you ordered, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and your session working, and may use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. After you close your account, we delete or anonymise your data unless we are required to keep records (such as transaction history) for longer under law.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing support@rankaltus.com. We handle these requests in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

9. Children

Our services are not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
